By The Pure Sea Books was formed in a remote, Mexican seaside-jungle village in 2022, when husband & wife author duo, Mark T. Rasmussen and Jennifer Juvenelle united their creative energy for the launch of their debut adult novels.
The Publishing name came about when they combined the meaning of Mark’s first born son, Kailan (pronounced Ky-lan), which means Pure, and the name of Mark & Jennifer’s first child, Iluka (pronounced E-luka), which means By the Sea. Thus, By The Pure Sea Books was born!
Our books and stories are conceived intuitively, meaning they are written from the heart, and so are created with genuine love, making what we believe, are more authentic, captivating, and soul-stirring stories.
